Ornate Garden Suite - Stampin' Up!

Ornate Garden Suite Collection Early Release from Stampin' Up!

The Ornate Garden Suite Collection consists of two stamp sets, two sets of die cuts for borders and layers, an embossing folder, ribbon, Designer Series Paper, and gold embellishments. We had a chance to play around with this colourful suite and create a few projects to show off all the fabulous florals!

The Ornate Garden Designer Series Paper is a colourful explosion of flowers with accents of gold! For my first card, I chose one of the small floral patterns of DSP to be my inspiration.  I used it as the background layer, peeking out from beneath one of the Ornate Layers Dies. I then added an assortment of gold embossed sentiments from Ornate Thanks stamp set that, together, act as one whole sentiment. I finished off the card with gold embellishments and die cut flowers from the second set of dies, Ornate Borders.

The second card used several different Ornate Borders Dies to create a layered fringe on the card front.  I mixed and matched the borders with DSP and coordinating card stock. The top of the card was gold embossed with a big Thank You from Ornate Thanks.

I even carried over the floral borders to decorate the inside of the card.

To complement the cards, I also used the Ornate Style stamps and DSP to create coordinating envelopes.

The Ornate Garden Suite Collection is perfect for creating spring Thank You cards and even beautiful Mother’s Day cards.  The ability to mix and match stamps, dies, and paper will inspire any level of crafter. How do you plan to use the dies, stamps, and DSP?

Demonstrators get early access to Ornate Garden Suite products from March 3-31, 2020. If you are not yet a Demonstrator and would like to join Stampin’ Up!, please contact me.  (During preorder, products are limited to one per demonstrator for non-consumable items and two per demonstrator for consumable items.)

  2. I like the way the DSP peeks through the scrollwork of the frame – it’s such a pretty effect. Putting a group of sentiments together to make one big one is also a great idea! Lovely work, Leah.

    • Thanks!! After I die cut that frame, I loved how it looked sitting on the big shot so I kept it mostly intact. It’s funny how some ideas present themselves!

  3. I love the show of the different borders. This makes it so much easier to see what they really look like. This second card also shows off the SDSP. I love the first card for it’s simplicity. They are both awesome cards. I love them both.

    • That is so nice of you to say!! When I first had all the borders, I had to cut them out to see what they were like. I saw them sitting on my table and knew I wanted to use them all together.
