For this blog hop, I was delighted to use the Curvy Christmas stamp set, coordinating Curvy Dies, and… Classic Christmas DSP! These new products arrived at the perfect time for creating Christmas paper crafts!!

I wanted to create a fun, paper ornament for the front of this Christmas card that could be removed and used as a decoration for a gift bag or hung on a tree!

I started making the ornament by rolling 1″ squares of Classic Christmas DSP into cone shapes. Once I had 13 cones, they were arranged in a circle and adhered to a small piece card stock at the back with Tear and Tape.

Once the cones were put together, I decorated the front with elements from the Curvy Christmas stamp set and Curvy Dies. I matched the curve of the sentiment to the curve of the dies to create an eye-catching greeting! To finish off this little ornament, I added a swirl of embroidered ribbon to the back.

The base of the card is Brushed Metallic card stock sandwiched between two layers of Whisper White. The top layer has a sprinkling of stars stamped in Sahara ink.

I adhered the ornament to the card base with a couple Glue Dots so it would be easy to remove and use as an ornament or gift tag.
