Welcome to Birdwing Paper Designs!

It is true – a picture is worth a thousand words! The photo above sums up my life and my reason for starting Birdwing Paper Designs!

I was at work one day and commented to a friend, “I wish I could just spend all day crafting and designing at home.” That wish came true when I quit my health care job of 10 years to stay home with the kids and see where this craft path will take me.

I still don’t get to spend all day working on projects because I am busy with the kids, but at least I am happier… and so is the rest of my beautiful family!

Since 2011 this blog has transformed and grown into a wonderful place to share all of my creative projects. From memory keeping ideas, cards, and scrapbook layouts, to photoshop tutorials, digital designs, and DIY home decor. I will pretty much share whatever my creative mind is working on!

Not only do I hope to inspire people to start preserving their photos and family memories, but also to follow their creative spirit and let it flourish.
