Another year of Elf on the Shelf has come to a close and the kids miss their elf so much! I keep having to explain to them why Arthur won’t be back until next Christmas. I think we, the parents, will miss him too because we had a lot of fun with the elf and he sure was mischievous with the kids’ toys. So, what better way to remember this amusing Christmas tradition than with a photo book.
I knew I was going to make this book before Arthur even showed up in December, so I created the digital kit, “12 Days of elf on the Shelf”, just for this purpose. (See more about the kit here.) Everyday for the month of December I photographed Arthur and wrote down the funny things the kids would say about him. I didn’t want to make too big of a photo book, just a simple 14 page book from Adoramapix so I had to choose twelve of the best photos with quotes and go from there. Here are the 12 days that made it into the book:
I don’t think the kids will miss Arthur so much now that they have this cute keepsake book of their beloved elf. And Mom and Dad will appreciate it for future Christmases when we try to remember all the funny things that Elf on a Shelf did in past years.
Have you caught on to the elf craze yet?
