Printable Valentine Cards

Free Printable Valentine Cards - Birdwing Paper Designs

With Valentine’s Day only a few weeks away, now is the time to start thinking about what kind of cards the kids are going to give at school.  I believe the best kind of cards are the home made ones that have thought, creativity, and time put into them.   And, to be honest, as a designer I just can’t bring myself to buy cards anymore!

Since both kids (ages 4 and 6) are still into colouring, I decided to design a selection of cards that could easily be printed and coloured.  Get the printable here: Free Printable Valentine Cards

Simply print the cards on white card stock, trim them into four individual cards, and let the kids have fun colouring.

It is a good idea to start this project a few weeks ahead of Valentine’s Day in case the kids get bored of colouring them all at once.  I give them a sheet of cards each time they ask to colour and we are already half way done!

Keep Valentine’s Day simple this year and involve the kids in making their own cards.  They will be so proud to hand out these little pieces of art to all of their friends.

Have the kids go old school and say “I like you” with an awesome kid made card.
