October is over and winter will be here before we know it.  In fact snow is already on its way (again!) for us!  To ease into the snowy holiday season, I am releasing a pack of 5 cards with a winter tree theme this month.

This set of cards includes a few simple, classic designs and a few cards that were more fussy to make.  All of the cards were created using Stampin’ Up! products.

Believe it or not, but the following card was actually my Dad’s idea!  He saw a birthday hat card I had designed and thought it looked like a Christmas tree. He was right, it easily turned into a tree!! And I love how the little hats look like toques!

And last, but definitely not least, is my favourite card of the set:

The watercolour trees are made using a stamping and painting technique that I will highlight next week in a post.  And I love the sprinkling of  shimmer paint snow over the trees.

These winter tree cards are a great way to get started on your holiday cards and look beautiful on the outside of gift boxes or gift bags with the clear envelopes.
