I began making Christmas cards in September this year and by the time December arrived I was glad I had started that early! So far this year I have made close to 200 Christmas cards – all cut, stamped, glued, and sparkled by my own two hands! Some of the cards are hand-painted and detailed, while other cards are more simple and elegant. But as December approached, I needed to make a lot more cards (and tags) quickly!
When the Holiday Catalogue from Stampin’ Up! came out, I was immediately drawn to the Santa’s Workshop Suite. Specifically, a 50 piece Memories & More Card Pack that could easily be used for festive greeting cards and gift tags.
The double-sided cards came in 2 sizes plus four sheets of sticker accents. I simply added coordinating card stock (Whisper White, Garden Green, Poppy Parade, and Pool Party), a bit of stamping, sequins or twine, and a few other embellishments to create 25 holiday cards.
I also used the set of cards to make holiday gift tags – 20 in total.
The best part about making cards and tags from the same suite, is that they coordinate with each other!
These assorted Christmas cards are available for sale ($5 each or 5 for $20) as well as the tags ($1 each). Contact me at lfedynak@gmail.com if you are interested in purchasing some.
A selection of these cards (and others) are also available at Bunches Flower Company in Edmonton. Stop in, buy some flowers and a handmade card and support two local YEG businesses!

This card pack was so cute and easy to make cards with! If I hadn’t made tags I probably could have created at least 10 more cards. The trick is to make sure you have the coordinating card stock and embellishments!!
