Artisan Design Team shares projects using the latest product from Stampin’ Up! and for April, we we are working with some awesome products from the January-June 2021 Mini Catalogue: Kangaroo & Company Bundle, Well Suited Suite, and the Garden Wishes Bundle..

I had there opportunity to work with the Well Suited Suite and as soon as I saw the cute bow tie stamp and die, I knew that I wanted to incorporate it into a scrapbook page featuring our little Havanese dog, Milo!

I had these photos taken of Milo last spring (when he was just a puppy) by my friend and photographer, Roberta of Baby Bee Photography. I have lots of professional photos of my kids as babies, so why not the dog too!!

As you can see from the photo, the inspiration for this scrapbook page was the cute bow tie that Milo was wearing! I took the colours from the bow tie (Granny Apple Green, Coastal Cabana, Night of Navy) and used it as accent colours on the page with the Well Suited DSP.

The bow tie stamp and die also makes the sweetest little flowers when you combine three of the die cuts together! I finished off the centre of the flower with a little circle and button die.

Since Milo celebrated his first birthday recently, I also made him a birthday card with his photo on it! For background texture and to help the photo pop, I crumpled up Smoky Slate paper and adhered it all wrinkly. The messy look of the paper reminds me of how much Milo loves to rip up paper and make a huge mess!! I then used the pocket shaped die to create a colourful chevron pattern at the bottom of the card.
