Stampin’ Up! Artisan Design Team – Sun Prints Suite Collection Bundle

Who is excited about the new annual catalogue from Stampin’ Up!? There are so many wonderful new products and my wish list is so long!! Do you want to know what my favourites are? In no particular order: He’s The Man Suite Collection (just in time for Father’s Day cards!), Charming Sentiments Bundle, Tech Support stamp set (for my IT husband), Sequins Dies, and the Sun Prints DSP.

Lucky for me, I was tasked with the Sun Prints Suite Collection for the May Artisan project and I was able to have a play with the Designer Series Paper, Nature’s Prints Bundle, and Fern 3D Embossing Folder.

The start of a new Annual Catalogue also means the introduction of new In Colours, so for these cards, I decided to try a new colour combo. The Sun Prints DSP uses the new dark blue, Starry Sky, and I paired it with another new colour, Parakeet Party, as well as Rich Razzleberry and Grey Granite.

I used the Fern 3D Embossing Folder for the background and blended a little Parakeet Party on it so the leaves would pop! I made a cute little flower wrap to hold a bouquet of paper flowers that were stamped and die cut with the Nature’s Prints Bundle.

To create this flower wrapper, I started with a 3″ square of DSP, folded up the bottom corner, and then folded the outer corners in to make the wrap. I secured the flap with a strip of adhesive and then filled it with paper flowers. The blue of the DSP is so bold on the bright green background.

For the second card, I used the gorgeous, dark blue DSP for the background of a slimline card. I love how the bright colours of the foliage stand out. I embossed a Thank You greeting in white and finished it off with a Grey Granite Shimmer Ribbon bow.

I hope you get a chance to order the Sun Prints Suite Collection, especially the gorgeous blue and grey Sun Prints DSP – it’s amazing!!
