With the new Annual Catalogue from Stampin’ Up! that was released last month, we were also introduced the new In Colors for 2022-2024: Starry Night, Orchid Oasis, Tahitian Tide, Parakeet Party, and Sweet Sorbet. The May 2022 Paper Pumpkin is a celebration of all these colours and features cards designed with just the five new colours.

I adjusted the designs slightly when I made my cards but still only made the 10 cards. Aren’t these colours perfect for summer celebrations?!!

All I did to change the designs from the instructions provided was switch the greetings, add extra embellishments, and use the inside of one of the envelopes as a background.

I just loved the blue tissue that came in the Paper Pumpkin box and used it on the card below as a bright accent behind the greeting. I also added gold trim to go with all the gold on the premade card base.

This kit comes with gift card holders which is such a smart idea for these cards that could be used for birthdays, graduations, or weddings. This is the card that used the pretty pattern from the inside of the envelope as the background!

For the next card, I left the circle cut on the background and used the gold trim to hide the outline of it. If you look closely, you can just see the outline.

And finally, the last card had nothing changed to it… it was perfect as it was!!
