With Mother’s Day less than two weeks away, it is time to not only think about a deserving gift, but also how to make that gift look beautiful!

This Mother’s Day, I have created a clear gift box with matching card.  This set was inspired by the Tea Together stamps from Stampin’ Up! and is perfect for Mom! It combines two of my favourite things: flowers and tea!!

The flowers in this stamp set are perfect for colouring with watercolours.  I started by embossing the flowers in white and then softly adding some colour.  The teapot and cup were embossed in gold to give them some contrast.

For the gift box, I used a clear acetate card box and filled it with white shred, coloured paper dots, and iridescent sequins.  Using this as the basic gift box, any small gift can be added to it.  For this post, I added a gift card and tea, but you could also include jewellery, flower seed packs, or photos of the kids.

The box was then wrapped in a decorated band that can slide on and off.  (This way the box and decorations can be reused.)

What a pretty way to dress up a regular gift card and bag of tea!  It is sure to “wow” Mom!

Giving a gift is all in the presentation and Mom is going to love this one!
