Giving Card Kits as Gifts

Several years ago when my children were very small, my husband asked what I would like for Mother’s Day.  All I wanted was a morning to stay in bed, a day of not changing diapers, and a few hours alone to craft.  He gave me all that I asked for and took it a step further by ordering me a subscription for the Paper Pumpkin monthly craft kits from Stampin’ Up!.  Not only did I get a few hours on Mother’s Day to craft, but also dedicated crafting time every month to work on the kits!  It was the perfect gift for me!

The kits come with everything you need to make the project, including a Stampin’ Ink Spot and exclusive stamp set.  Sometimes the projects are cards, treat bags, banners, or home decor.

For more info on the Paper Pumpkin kits check them out here.

This is what the latest April kit looked like:

The instructions and suggested designs are included, but you can change it up however you want! For the most part I followed the instructions for this beautiful card kit, and just changed a few small details.

Now that my kids are older, they even like to help assemble the kits!

Here is another collection of cards created with the Blissful Blooms kit from last summer. (Read more about how I put this kit together here.)

I have written about these Paper Pumpkin kits before, so if you would like to see more click the Paper Pumpkin category in the sidebar.

Stampin’ Up! also has all-inclusive card kits in their Annual Catalogue which a really great too! One of my favourites is the Soft Sayings kit.
