Colourful Daisy Cards

The new Celebrate Sunflowers Bundle from Stampin’ Up! is a gorgeous floral set of realistic sunflower stamps and coordinating die cuts. Although, you aren’t limited to just making yellow sunflowers. By combining the stamps and die cuts with bright watercolours, you can create many colourful daisies!

To create these beautiful daisies, stamp the large flower image on watercolour paper in the colour you will be painting it.

With a brush or Aqua Painter, add water to the stamped image and start painting. To increase the contrast in colour, add more ink in some places or even different colour ink to make it more interesting.

Next, use the sunflower outline die cut to make coordinating card stock daisies.

The watercolour daisies will also be cut out with another die cut and the flowers layered on a card base.

I finished the card off with a white embossed sentiment on black cardstock and sequins and ribbon.

Don’t these make for a great set of colourful daisy cards?

By changing the colours and making these flowers non-traditional sunflowers, there are so many more possibilities for creating gorgeous cards and paper crafts. What are you creating with the Celebrate Sunflowers Bundle?
