Hello!! I’m Leah and welcome to the July 2020 monthly blog hop from the Stampin’ Up! Artisan Design Team!
This month I am so excited to share a new bundle from the 2020-2021 Annual Catalogue, Nothing’s Better Than Bundle which consists of Nothing’s Better Than stamp set and Love You More Than Dies. It features all the good things in life: chocolates, cookies, and cocktails!

The first card I created, used the super cute cookie stamp paired with the new In Color, Misty Moonlight. The blue reminded me of Cookie Monster so it was a natural fit with the cookie stamp!!

The cookies were stamped in Early Espresso and coloured with the Ivory Stampin’ Blend. To create a variation of colour using only one Stampin’ Blend, go over the areas that will be darker 2 or 3 times.
I also created a perfectly shaped vellum background for the die cut words, “Love your more than”, by tracing the outer shape of the die with a pencil on vellum and fussy cutting.

The second card had to have chocolate because that is my favourite treat and it truly does make everything better!!

This card used the Terracotta Tile In Color DSP which went so nicely with the chocolate colours. The chocolates were stamped in Early Espresso and coloured with the Bronze Stampin’ Blend which makes such a nice, creamy chocolate colour. This time I cut the word “Chocolate” out of Crumb Cake Cardstock, sponged a bit of Early Espresso on the bottom for a little ombre effect, and adhered it to the fussy cut vellum.

This bundle makes for such cute cards that any friend would love to receive!
The Artisan Design Team is sharing projects from two different bundles this month, so hop on over to Manuela’s blog to see what she did with the Blossoms in Bloom Bundle.

When I was trying to think of a good colour to go with the brown cookies, the blue seemed perfect and then I saw it together and immediately thought “Cookie Monster”!! LOL
