Stampin’ Up! Artisan Design Team Blog Hop – Peace And Joy Bundle

Hello, it’s Leah from the 2020 Artisan Design Team and we have a great August blog hop for you!

This month we are showcasing the Peace and Joy Bundle (155167) from the new Stampin’ Up! August-December 2020Mini Catalogue!

This is one of my favourite bundles in the new catalogue and I can’t wait to share my non-Christmas themed version of this very Christmasy bundle!

Since it is still August and Christmas is 4 months away, I wanted to show how the Peace and Joy Bundle can be used with non-traditional Christmas colours. I chose to go with Petal Pink, Calypso Coral, Mango Melody, and the new In-Color, Misty Moonlight.

The first card used the Peace and Joy stamp set (153430) with a white emboss leaf for the background and the Peace sentiment on a colour blended strip of card stock. The small starburst was repeatedly stamped on a Whisper White strip to add as an accent.

The second card used the Joy Dies (153530) and thick Whisper White card stock to create a popped up blended Bright. With the addition of “MERRY AND” it is a little bit Christmasy, but very untraditional!

The third card used a combination of stamps and dies from the bundle. I created the “Be” by cutting apart the letters from the Bright and Peace die cuts and joining them back together. Now I have a custom sentiment, Be Happy!

Thanks for hopping along the blog and I hope this gave you some ideas on how to create non-Christmasy projects with the Peace and Joy Bundle.

Leah

  3. For several reasons I have truly enjoined this Blog hop. First of all, it’s so much fun to see how everybody uses one bundle in so many ways. Secondly, The Artisan team is very talented; it’s a treat to see all those different cards. What really jumped out to me was the home or tree decoration. Yet again, your examples have provided me with a lot of inspiration!
To all of you many thanks1
