Hello everyone!! I’m Leah from Edmonton, Alberta, Canada and a proud member of the 2020 Stampin’ Up! Artisan Design Team!! The new August-December 2020 Mini Catalogue is out and I would love to share how I created non-Christmas cards using a Christmas themed kit, Tag Buffet Project Kit.

This project kit has gorgeous Christmas elements included in it and the colours (Garden Green, Shaded Spruce, Pool Party, Real Red, gold) are a great starting point for fall inspired projects as well. With the addition of Bumblebee In Color DSP and Ribbon, Gold Hoop Embellishments, and Whisper White Card Stock, I was ready to start creating non-Christmas themed cards.

For the square card, I fussy cut a gold foil tag down to a simple oval shape and layered it on the woodgrain pattern Bumblebee DSP. Next, I cut the red striped present into banners and added a few more stamped leaves to add fullness. The sentiment was stamped from the bottom two lines of the largest greeting in the Tag Buffet stamp set. The bright yellow background and large gold trim bow gives this card a lovely fall feeling!

The next card used two large tags and more Bumblebee DSP as the background pattern paper. Another trimmed down gold foil tag was the base for the greeting from that same large stamp used above, but this time I stamped the top portion. Finally, the Pool Party present was cut up and used as a decoration with the ribbon. This simple card was a great way to show off beautiful patterned paper!

The final card used a portion of the big ornament accent piece for the “with love” greeting and was placed on a gold hoop. I created several layers with more Bumblebee DSP, Subtle 3D embossed Whisper White card stock, and a large and small tag. It was finished off with stamped leaves, gold trim and ribbon. This card would make a beautiful fall wedding or anniversary card!
