Stampin’ Up! Artisan Design Team – Harvest Meadow Suite

Welcome to Birdwing Paper Designs!! Each month I share creative projects with the Stampin’ Up! Artisan Design Team. This month, the team is sharing a variety of projects using products from the new July-December 2021 Mini Catalogue: Sweet Stocking Suite Collection, Harvest Meadow Suite, and Evergreen Elegance Bundle.

This month I had the opportunity to work with the Harvest Meadow Suite which complements the Quiet Meadow Bundle from the Annual catalogue. I shared projects with that bundle last month and it can be found here.

The Harvest Meadow Suite consists of Nature’s Harvest stamp set, Harvest Dies, Timeworn Type 3D Embossing Folder, Cork Specialty Paper, Harvest Meadow DSP, Diamond Weave Ribbon, and Brushed Metallic Adhesive-Backed Dots.

I created two cards with coordinating envelopes for this project and paired neutral colours (Crumb Cake and Very Vanilla) with a pretty purple (Highland Heather).

The first card had a Crumb Cake background that was partially embossed with the Timeworn Type 3D Embossing Folder. I achieved this look by placing the embossing folder on the card front and only rolling it through the Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine part way.

The next layer was a 3.5″ x 4.5″ piece of Harvest Meadow DSP die cut with the Meadow Dies. I just wanted a subtle background image so I left the die cut pieces in the paper. The Cork Specialty DSP looks amazing as a die cut flower and I added some floral details with the White Chalk Marker. A few pretty additions like the White Baker’s Twine, Diamond Weave Ribbon, and the torn edge Highland Heather card stock, help to highlight the sentiment.

A card this pretty deserves a custom decorated envelope! I simply added a floral stamp in Crumb Cake ink with a cork triangle, and a Very Vanilla trim to the front of the envelope. Just be sure to leave enough room to add the address if needed.

The second card features the gorgeous Highland Heather colour with a repeating flower image as the background. The die cut grasses are a combo of the Harvest Dies and Meadow Dies and were coloured with the Dark Highland Heather Stampin’ Blend so they stand out from the purple background. This time the cork was used for the sentiment which was embossed in white.

The envelope for this card was made the same way as the first envelope but with a Highland Heather flower stamp on the front.

To add some detail to the background stamps, I coloured the flowers with the White Chalk Marker.

The Harvest Meadow Suite is a beautiful collection that will suit all of your fall crafting needs. If you would like to purchase any of the products used in this post, please visit my Stampin’ Up! Store to order or contact me for more info.
