I love getting fun mail and it’s even better when I find a card making kit in my mailbox!! Every month I receive the Stampin’ Up! Paper Pumpkin Kit and every month it does not disappoint! The March 2022 kit, Beyond The Horizon, is gorgeous with watercolour images printed on card bases, geometric shapes, mountain and greenery cutouts, and even coordinating envelopes.

The kit contained all the supplies to make 9 cards (3 each of 3 designs). It also included a roll of ribbon and an extra stamp set… that’s right, two stamp sets in this kit!

When I opened the box contents, I didn’t look at the instructions. Instead, I set out all the card bases, divided up the pre-cut elements based on what card I thought they went well with, and then assembled the cards. I didn’t use all of the elements because I wanted to keep these card simple and let the beautiful backgrounds stand out.

Since it is spring and I am restocking my card collection, I chose sentiments that would be good for birthdays, weddings, graduation, or teacher thank you cards.
