I was so excited to receive the Winter 2012 Canadian Scrapbooker magazine last week and search through the pages for my layout.  It took me a while to find it in the 144 pages of the magazine, but there it was on page 128!

Do you know what it is like to walk into a Chapters, pick up a magazine off the shelf (after putting down my Pumpkin Spice Latte), and see your work in it?  Well it is an awesome feeling and it motivates me to create even better projects for the summer issue!

These pictures were taken last December after Christmas and were some of the first photos from my new camera.  I told my husband I needed a better camera so my layouts would look nicer and it would increase my chances of getting them published in a magazine.  I don’t want to say, “I told you so”, but… !  This year I have told him I now need a tripod to get my pictures looking even better!!  Maybe I should take a photography class too!  This scrapbooking is an expensive hobby/business!!
