So Cool Paper Pumpkin Kit

The April 2021 Paper Pumpkin Kit from Stampin’ Up!, So Cool, was timed perfectly for making summmer birthday cards! It is a fun and colourful card kit that is easy enough for kids to make.

My kids weren’t up for the challenge this time, which was fine because I really wanted to play with it and see how many cards I could make!! Can you believe I made 22 cards?

The kit comes with 2 sheets of die cut stickers (fruit, popsicles, and rainbows) and they are perfectly sized for small 3″ x 3″ cards. I made two sets of five cards in the colours of the rainbow and tucked each set in a Mini Pizza Box to give away as a gift. These little cards work great on a small gift bag!!

The remaining fruit stickers were used together on a card along with Sweet Symmetry DSP.

The So Cool kit also comes with these super sweet popsicle, watermelon, and rainbow printed card bases that can be used on their own as a card, but I cut the card fronts off and used them with a Crumb Cake card base. By cutting the rainbow in half I was able to get twice as many!! I only used three of them for these cards and saved the others for later!

For the last set of cards, I combined the Paper Pumpkin kit with Flowering Cactus Kit from the January-June 2021 Mini Catalogue. The felt flowers and DSP worked perfectly with the watermelon and kiwi popsicle!

If you aren’t already signed up to receive the monthly Paper Pumpkin Kit, you really should!! The kits are delivered to your door every month and each come with an exclusive stamp set, Classic Stampin’ Spot (a different colour every time), and everything you need to make the wonderful projects. I love getting some fun mail every month!! The kits also make great gifts and I quite often use them as birthday gifts! For more details and to sign up, visit paperpumpkin.com

I hope you enjoyed these creations and I will be back in a few weeks to share the May 2021 Paper Pumpkin Kit, Batter Up!
