Safari Celebration Paper Pumpkin Kit

Have you seen the February 2022 Paper Pumpkin Kit from Stampin’ Up!? It is a cute card kit filled with animals and foliage that you might see while on safari. The kit is designed to make 9 cards, but read on to learn how I managed to make 18 cards from it!!

The card kit comes with everything you need to craft including: Stampin’ Spot, exclusive stamp set, accents, card bases, coordinating envelopes, adhesive dots, Dimensionals, pebble embellishments, and instructions.

When the card bases have patterns on the front and back, I always cut them in half and adhere to my own white card base so I can start with twice as many cards! I now have 18 cards ready to go in three different colours: Fresh Freesia, Bumblebee, and Soft Succulent.

I followed the instructions to put together half the cards, but left off the large foliage leaf to use on the other half. You don’t even notice that the leaf is missing!

See the video below to learn how to put the kit together:

I used the leftover leaf with a couple of stamped leaves, die cut vellum (that I cut myself), and silver twine to make the other 9 cards.

It was really that easy to go from 9 cards to 18 and this whole project only took a couple hours!!

The stamp set that is included in this kit has one more stamp that I just couldn’t resist… the cutest little cupcake!! I made a very simple birthday card with it and it has quickly become one of my favourites!

If you like paper crafting, then you should definitely sign up for the monthly Paper Pumpkin Kits. Canadian crafters can subscribe through me here.

Here is a sneak peek of the March 2022 kit that coordinates with the New Horizons Suite Collection. It is available with subscriptions purchased before March 10, 2022 and includes an extra FREE stamp set – that means two stamp sets in one kit!!

I hope you have a great week of crafting!!
