Sweet Sunflowers Paper Pumpkin Kit

Sometimes Stampin’ Up! comes up with the most amazing Paper Pumpkin Kits, and the kit for August is one of them. I think this is my favourite one so far this year, if not ever!! The kit is filled with summery flowers and features gorgeous sunflowers!! It even comes with 2 Stampin’ Spot colours and bonus gold decorative sheets.

See the video below to learn how to put the kit together:

Once again, the card bases provided with the kit were so gorgeous on the front AND back that I couldn’t resist cutting them apart to use for extra cards. So instead of making just 9 cards, I had enough for 18. The envelopes were also amazing and could easily be used on cards, but I ran out of time and have set them aside for a later date!

Can you believe the fronts of the two cards below were one card base? The one on the left was the back and I couldn’t just leave it untouched!! I cut the card base apart and adhered one side to its own Soft Seafoam base and the other side to Basic White.

I did the same thing with the next gorgeous card base and used die cut leaves from the Aspen Trees Dies in Blackberry Bliss, Crushed Curry, and Melon Mambo to make a colourful Thank You card. As you can see I also used the gold hexagon pattern that comes as a bonus with the kit.

For the other card, I needed to add to my Anniversary stash, so I added a Happy Anniversary sentiment from Itty Bitty Greetings.

The final card design had a beautiful green background overlayed with a stunning background. I made this one according to the instructions because it was perfect as is!!

If you want to add to your card stash every month, then you need to sign up for the monthly Paper Pumpkin Kits. Canadian crafters can subscribe through me here.

Be sure to subscribe by September 10, 2022 so you can receive the September Paper Pumpkin Kit, Spooky Treats! The kit will include everything to make and decorate 18 Halloween treat boxes!!

Have a great week of crafting!!
