Hello!! Welcome to winter and the countdown to Christmas… only 50 days until Dec 25th!! This month with the Stampin’ Up! Artisan Design Team I am so excited to share a really cute set, the Christmas Scottie Bundle. I am most excited about this because the little dog in this set resembles our Milo, even though he is a Havanese and not a Scottie!

For my doggy projects, I created a fun Christmas card and set of treat bags using the Christmas Scottie stamp set and Scottie Dog Punch from Stampin’ Up!

For the card, I used Snowflake Specialty Vellum to make a quick wintery background (5″ x 3.75″) and stamped a big red present (2.25″ x 2″) in Sweet Sorbet. Ok, the present wasn’t that big, but it looked like it compared to the little dog! The dog was stamped in Smoky Slate with a Shaded Spruce bow.

QUICK TIP: Make little dog bones by stamping the smallest bow stamp in Crumb Cake end on end as seen in the photo below.

The treat bags were a quick project made using a clear envelope, more of the Snowflake Vellum (3″ x 4.5″) folded over the end of the envelope, a decorated Scottie dog, and a sentiment. The three dogs and bows were created by stamping with the plaid stamp (using Sweet Sorbet, Shaded Spruce, and Orchid Oasis) on the same colour cardstock and then simply using the Scottie Dog Punch to punch out the dog and bow. I mixed and matched colours and added Festive Pearls for decoration.

I plan to make more of these treat bags for Milo’s brothers and doggy friends for Christmas!!
