I have to admit… I did a minimal amount of crafting and digital projects this summer. This may have been noticed by the lack of blog posts for the last few months! Who wants to be stuck inside on a beautiful summer (or even fall) day with two energetic kids? Not me!! In fact, all I did was stay up-to-date with the family album pages! Would you like to see all the fun things we did this summer? Well, here are a few snapshots and stories from the past four months.
(Note: The digital designs used in this album are “Simply 2015” by Birdwing Paper Designs and “This Month” by Paislee Press.)
We are going to start way back in June. Oh, what a busy month it was – golf lessons, soccer games, swimming lessons, end of school activities, gardening, playing, and raising baby praying mantises!
July was the month of raspberries. The kids spent three weeks picking raspberries at their Grandpa’s acreage and then selling them by the cup in front of the house. They sold out every time!
July was also the month we took our one and only road trip of the summer.
August was spent exploring the city of Edmonton – Kinsmen Park, the river valley, Hide and Seek, High Level Bridge street car, the Valley Zoo, Fort Edmonton Park, the Downtown Market, and the Ice District.
And finally, September! My favourite month because the kids went back to school, it was my birthday, and I went on a wonderful girls trip to Banff.
There are such wonderful memories collected here! As with every annual project, I can’t wait to see the final album. Only three more busy months to go!
