In last week’s post I used the Paper Pumpkin kit, A Little Smile (June 2019), from Stampin’ Up! to create cards for beginner, moderate, and advanced level paper crafters. The kit came with so much vellum, paper, and glitter elements that … Continue reading
Since we returned from Disneyland a few weeks ago, I have been spending a lot of time in front of the computer organizing and editing photos, working on a new digital kit, creating Disney layouts, and starting the templates for … Continue reading
For many people, the ringing in of the new year brings thoughts of new goals for the year and the hope that these goals will lead you to become a better, happier, healthier person. I am not one to make … Continue reading
The title of this post says it all! The craft sale on Saturday was a great success and that was not based solely on how much product was sold, but also the festive, neighborly atmosphere in the hall. It was truly an enjoyment to visit … Continue reading
As the days become shorter and the temperature gets colder, I spend less time working in the yard and more time inside our cozy home crafting and designing. This week will be extra busy as I prepare for our community craft sale … Continue reading

I know not everyone is ready to think about Christmas yet, but I have been thinking about it for over a month already. Our community league has a Christmas craft sale in November and this year I am hoping to sell some of my paper crafts. I can’t really sell photobooks since those are custom made, but I am hoping the craft sale will give me an opportunity to promote my photobook business while selling other paper products. I am still in the brain storming phase for the paper crafts and will post some samples as soon as I decide what I am making.
In preparation for this craft sale I decided to make some new business cards. I have been wanting to do this for a while but never saw anything that I liked. Thank goodness for Pinterest!! I saw these beautiful DIY business cards and had to make some of my own.
I found the kraft labels from Martha Stewart at Staples and the paper is from a few local scrapbook stores. By making my own, I am able to change the style of the business cards anytime I want and not have 200 old cards lying around!
I will keep you posted about the products I am making for craft sale and if anyone has any ideas I would be more than happy to hear them!
